Privacy Policy
Last updated 5 November 2026. Operator: Renewproof (a MINIMALCULT project). Contact: hello@renewproof.com.
Who this covers
This policy covers visitors to renewproof.com, people who join our pre-order list, and business customers who install Renewproof. For the end customers of businesses using Renewproof, we act as a processor; see the Data Processing Agreement.
What we collect
- Pre-order list: your work email and the page you signed up from.
- Customers: account details from Stripe (account ID, business name, team member email for support), your settings and billing records.
- On behalf of customers: the minimum subscription data needed to send notices (subscriber email, subscription dates and amounts, country signals). In our evidence log subscriber emails are stored only as a one-way hash.
- Website: we do not use advertising trackers. Our host keeps standard server logs for security.
Why we use it
To provide the service you asked for (contract), to email you about your pre-order (consent, which you can withdraw at any time), and to keep the service secure (legitimate interests).
Who we share it with
Service providers that run Renewproof: Cloudflare (hosting and database), Stripe (billing and the app platform) and our email delivery provider. We do not sell personal data.
International transfers
Data is processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate, under appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
How long we keep it
Pre-order emails: until you unsubscribe or 24 months after the last contact. Customer data: for the life of the account plus the retention period in the DPA.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, or object to its use, by emailing privacy@renewproof.com. If you are in the UK you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
